When God's people pray........ ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN !!! The early church prayed about many things. They lived under the fear of being killed for the Gospel. They still taught, fasted, prayed, and fellowshipped daily. They had a burning desire to stay close to Jesus and tell everyone about Him!
When God hears, forgives, and heals...... We are changed, others are changed! No more weight of guilt and sin, no more sickness or disease, and God listens to us! Whew! God is sooooo awesome!!
God loves to fulfill His promises. We must seek Him so He can do His great work in us, through us, and among us! He has fulfilled His Word in the past and He will fulfill it even now, when we obey 2 Chronicles 7:14.
7:14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. |
