Well, you know Preacher, we are human after all.  Yes, created in the image of God, yet a fallible human.  That's why He has given us the gift of forgiveness, "progressive" revelation and most of all His Spirit which dwells within.  If, when trusting God for our salvation, we were made perfect...how could we be faithful followers of Christ?  Faithfulness is what God wants, not perfection.  Soon enough perfection will come!

Hang in there, big guy...Saturday's here, but Sunday's a-coming!

I agree 100% with you Preacher. We need to send out messages in a BALANCED WAY.  I too have been on the end of some things - because people only send out messages at one end of the scale.  As soon as people even hint at evening it out, its WHAM!  And if you want me to sound "religious", Jesus sent out one message at one end of the scale - then evened it out with another at the other end of the scale to balance it up.

I concur with you both.  My point is to send a message that both saves and prepares others.  Too often religion sends the message of be a Jesus follower and your live will be fine and thats not true.  Things may happen in your life to make it not fine, but Jesus can help you through it!
