OK so I admit that at times I can be a "straight shooter" right from the "hips" and have about as much tact as a bull in a china

shop! 

But hey, some things just irk me and I have to speak up
.

Tried to be the happy-clappy guy but that only goes so far.  So What to do?  Well we have to have balance but at the same time we can not deny the way that Poppa God has made us either, as long as we don’t do any wrong doings against others or God!

Keep seeing a lot of folk "professing to be Christians and then acting with a devil may care attitude.  They say they go to services but only when it doesn’t offend someone else that may not go.  They say they love you and stab you in the back.

Yes, it does go "smash" as I’ve seen this happen to others just that way.  Lives ruined or changed for the worse by those professing to show the love of Jesus!  Its a cancer that affects the institutionalized church of today.  That may be why so many leave.  They get tired of the ear tickling!

Some say I may be guilty of sending mixed messages.  To that I say Hogwash! I send a balanced message so as not to deceive or delude anyone.  Speaking only the truth so not to mislead.  We don’t want some to come to Jesus only to be discouraged later on and leave. 

We tell the WHOLE truth and nothing BUT the Truth upfront so there is no surprises later on.  We know some wont be able to Handle the Truth and thankfully there are ear tickling places they can go and hide out. But we don’t want to be accused of lying to someone or leaving out things either!

But as for me and this ministry, we will not deceive, at least not on purpose and if that happens we WILL make a correction.  We don’t want to be the ones that cause unneeded pain to others and then turn around and be all happy clappy about things when we meet on Sundays.

Yes we want others to come to Jesus and we want others to become all that GOD intended them to become and belong, but, knowing full well the cost.  As Luke 14:28

explains, there is a cost to being a Follower of Christ as Jesus Himself explained to us.  Unfortunately, far too often, that part of the message is left out and many then are deceived by a different Gospel. Being hurt by the ones that should be helping others in the journey with Jesus. 

Makes you wonder don’t it.  All I can say is that I thank God and give Him the Glory each day that He reveals more of His truth that we all can share in and be set free with!
