Proverbs 24:10 KJV; [If] thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength [is] small. Just as the power lifter grunts and strains under the massive weight of his Weider barbells to thrust them in an erect posture symbolic of the epitomy of form and physical prowess, we as followers of Yeshua must strain under the weight and pressures of life that afflict us and cause many of us to faint. As a power lifter has to discipline his body with a regimen of reptitive movements that bursts blood vessels and rip the fabric of tissues and muscles in an effort to achieve physical perfection, it takes discipline to absorb the brutal and vicious assaults of a relentless adversary whose very nature drives us to the brink of insanity as his forces converge in a concerted effort to force us into submission to ultimately cause us to give in. Giving up is not an option. Quitters never win and winners never quit. The spotter urges the lifter to give it just a little more, pushing the envelope past the level of the body's threshold for pain. PUSH IT PUSH IT PUSH IT!!! Have you given it your all? Can you honestly say that you have given it your best shot? Just a little more, let me see what you got! What's the matter, do you want your mommy? I'M YOUR MOMMY NOW!!! Alright that's it, you got it now. Just a little more...let me see what you got...that's it...gimme some more, yes yes! Who's the man! Practice makes perfect. Muslims practice at being Muslims and Hindus practice at being Hindus, so why is it so hard for Christians to practice being Christians. Its not good enough just to try, either you are or you aren't. That's the bottom line. How about we meet later at the Lord's Gym? We can practice doing some deep knee bends and some arm raises, and we can bench press the cross we carry daily. The Holy Ghost is leading aerobics and dance class and afterwards refreshing as he leads us around the jogging course into all truth. After a bottle of living water we can go to the boxing ring and practice beating up on the devil. I'll give you some pointers on how to defend against the feiry darts, but you have to stay with me until the gym closes. I'll send a you a knee-mail later when you go online. When you reply just type GOD in the subject line and click send. I'll forward it to the Father so expect a response in due time. We'll work out again tomorrow. You know where to find me. I'll be at the Lord's gym. In case I'm not there yet, just excercise your faith. Powerwalk with Yeshua! I'll send you a text message to let you know I'm on my way. Meet me in the lobby. Introduce yourself to the Father Son and Holy Ghost until I arrive. They'll never leave you or forsake you. Amen and Shalom, ttyl and gbu Galatians 6:9 KJV And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. |
