| Book Review: The Zookeepers Wife |

I never knew that an European atheist zookeeper's family hid Jewish people during WWII. It is amazing what certain people will do and sacrifice in order to do the right thing. This book was well written and kept me reading till the end. It mostly talked about this particular family and how and what they did in order to help the Jewish community they respected. It also told about how others in Warsaw helped Jewish people escape the ghettos. I truly enjoyed this book. |
