Oops, I made a spelling mistake, so I'll write it again.  There are two things people struggle with.  Concern and opportunity.  Many people are concerned, but they don't have the opportunity.  On the other hand, many people have the opportunity - but are not concerned.  When concern and opportunity are brought together, things will start moving.  So bringing both together, are people concerned enough and do they have the opportunity to do something about it?  Tough question when people think about it.  Its another way of saying "informed but not inspired."

Hey Steve,

I'm sorry, I guess this hits me wrong. It's already to much about us and not about others.

Steve said, "Everybody reading this knows enough to make their life happier and more peaceful."

Who says our lives are suppose to be about this?  We continually have our eyes to much on ourselves rather than God and others already. Isn't our service here, since we are strangers in this foreign land... is one to others, not ourselves?  Living sacrifices?

If we would walk in the direction of exposing evil and standing against those things... things would be better for others but harder for us. Or at least this is the way it seems to me.

Hey Steve, you know what?  This is a great follow-up for my recent blog entitled, "Unity--An Evasive Virtue".  I present a problem in the blog but don't really address the possible reasons or solutions.  You have.  Thanks, I (my blog) needed that!

R:  Hurt people hurt people.  If we don't get ourselves in a good position spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, we won't have the courage to boldly spread the Gospel or the strength to help others effectively and lovingly.

Well said Steve, we often know what we should do, but fail to put that knowledge into use.  God give us the wisdom to take the first step as You lead.

Hey,

Steve says, "Get excited about changing and improving your life. Get fired up. Work like heck to make things better. Get aggressive. Go for self-improvement the way an athlete trains for the Olympics. If you will put your treasure of time, effort, and money into improving your life every day -- soon you will begin to feel inspired."

"He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life (1 John 5:12). Who's life are we looking to improve anyways?  Who's life is the life that we have? What does this Bible passage say?

If there is anything that I need to improve, it is my dependence on God to display the Life through me when I cannot manufacture it (Rom.8:11). This is what it makes me think about. Thanks, Steve.

R:  "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind."  "Work our your own salvation with fear and trembling."  "I press toward the mark of the prize of the high calling in Jesus."  "Repent."  "Follow me."  "Love your neighbor as  yourself."  "Humble yourself."

I need to improve my life in all these areas, R.  Don't we all?

An individual can NEVER better himself (improve) , until he/she learns to rest within all the knowledge that is in this world. The cherubim sit facing directly in opposite sides. There can be no rest in knowledge as this Seat of God's mercy is not for the weak minded. In this present world of Knowledge there will always be an equal voice in opposite view of every piece of information that exist. If there is a voice of Left, then there will equally be a voice of the right.

Only in the Son are these cherubim brought into reconciliation and this is by the cross through the Living Truth.  For we must learn to rest in the Security of the Love of God, which is an end , yet a beginning for all things. Love of God settles the matter in all Knowledge. I did not say the verses in the books written by man, settle the matter did I ?  The act of God's Love toward this world beyond the knowledge of Good and Evil are settled by the One act of God's Throne and expressed as eternal security for both sides of the seat of power. The Blood of Jesus was placed on this seat. The matters of the words are settled. Love has the last word.

First we must truly rest. Then and only then can an individual improve and mature in the knowledge of good and evil.

Kw:  Now we must live out what God has done!  Be doers of the word and not hearers only.  Earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints.
