Thanks,Joey! For many years, I taught sunday school and have longed for more, for myself, and for those I love! I want so badly to contribute!!  I used to think that I could teach the little ones....but, I became bored with the same stories. I moved on to the teenagers and I think that i failed them' too...I want to make a difference for Jesus' cause!II just need to learn and grow and share! Thanks for your encouraging word!!

I'm a firm believer that one person working alone is never as profitable as a group working together. In this tradition, it appears they learn the value of being interconnected--that is so wonderful!

Ima....  Never believe that you failed. I've felt the same way.  One day, you'll understand when one of the kids you taught comes up to you, and says, "Hey!  I remember you!...."

I think it is a beautiful story because they add value to each other, and to their tribe.  They don't dishonor one another.

This is a popular exercise at youth camp -- and so so so many times people are amazed at the good things they remember and then the good things other people see in them ---

Joey,

I love the part that says, "they appreciate each other into the better part of himself."  We all could learn from this.  It's all about community, and the contributions that each one makes in it.

1. They gather in a circle -  this speaks to unity,

2. And one by one - everyone has value

3. Telll the stories of everything each has done in their lives -  this says there are no big I's and little u's, everyone matters.
