Following the big storm Friday evening, our electricity was down & out for a few hours. A couple of things happened that evening.....an awesome sunset appeared out of nowhere & also there was an unusally large amount of quiet. I know that God is ultimate designer of beauty, but it was also apparent that night He is the conductor of silence & only His presence can produce an all-consuming peace & calmness during & following a storm. No electricity? The greatest power source in the universe & beyond is always at work..... in the midst of storms & in the midst of quiet.....we just need to plug in.
