Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Have you been born again. If yo have then you are child of God and have the absulute assurance that the Holy Spirit will lead you.
Joseph exerienced the favor of God even as prisoner in Egypt Genesis 39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. God gave the Israelites favor with those who had been their oppressors beofre he set them free form egyptian bondage. Exodus 11:2&13 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold. And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.
As you seek to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, learn to expect the favor of God. Expect people to go out of thier way to do you good. Even those who don't particularly like you. A story is told of a Christian lady who ran out of Gos in the front yard of a woman who was an athiest. The Christian lady said she was trusting God to get her home safely. Annoyed, the athiest woman secretly put gas in the tank from a can in her garage. The Christian lady tried to start the car and to her surprise it started right up. She began to praise God for a miracle when the athiest said "You fool! I put that gas in your car." The Christian lady then shouted, "Praise You Lord Jesus, You used the devil to supply my needs."
Beleive God for favor, expect favor, talk favor, favor, favor, favor. Claim the blessing the Moses spoke over the tribe of Naphtali. Deuteronomy 33:23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD. The favor of God will protect you from all sorts of trouble. David knew God's favor he wrote, "For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield." Psalm 5:12
