3:1Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, [even] to Horeb.
3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush [was] not consumed.
3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here [am] I.
3:5And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest [is] holy ground.
3:6 Moreover he said, I [am] the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which [are] in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
3:8And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
3:9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
3:10Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
3:11 And Moses said unto God, Who [am] I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
3:12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this [shall be] a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
4:10 And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I [am] not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I [am] slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
4:11And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?
4:12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
In the passage of scriptures above God chooses a deliver and just like he prepared and sent Moses to deliver the Israelites from slavery in Egypt; showing that God calls, prepares, and sends people to serve Him. Therefore, we should hear and respond to God's call.

Having a calling from God is important, and the calling comes at His pleasure. By divine calling, we come to know what God will have us to do, and by obedience to that calling we discover when, how, and where we are to serve God in fulfillment of our calling.
Before Moses could succeed in briinging deliverance to Israel, it was essential for him to receive a divine, personal calling to be the deliverer of Israel?
Life Lines
No one is adequately prepared to serve God in this world, who is not equipped with divine power; that is, the power of the Holy Spirit. Just as Moses needed divine power for his mission, we need divine power for Christian living and for doing Christian ministry.
Moses was equipped with divine power which was an essential part of Moses' preparation for service to God, and it is also an essential part of our preparation for service to God?
Life Lines
When God sends, He provides for those He sends everything they need from Him to go. When God lays claim to our lives and commands us to to, He will accept no excuses, because He will provide by some means everything necessary for us to obey Him.
God will provide everything needed in order for us to obey Him. To often we confuse wants with needs. He provide what is necessary to fulfill His work.
