Ok, so you're gonna tell us the team down 27-0 came back to win this game, right? :-)

Yep, we all need to keep sight of our great hope! The short-term outlook is nothing but a distraction!

Cindy Lou:  Sorry but this was hot off the press.  Every athlete needs this mentality though!  Never quit and never say die!

Marg Jay:  i think you give me too much credit. But, I will be glad to join you on your radio cast. thanks for the kind words and the invitation.

Mike:  I don't know the outcome of that game, but I remember the play off game between the Bills and the Houston Oilers.  Warren Moon and company had built what seemed like an insurrmountable half-time lead.  Yet Jim Kelly brought them back and the Bills went on the the Super Bowl.  Do you remember that game?

ED:  2 4 6 8 who do we appreciate?  ED!  ED!  ED!  Whoo!  I always wanted to to this as a "call to worship."  I did it at a Sun Rise Service and it was a lot of fun.  I shouted:  Give me a "J"  Give me and "E"  all the way to J-E-S-U-S!  Who do we love?  Who do we serve?  Who is risen from the dead?  etc....Wonder why don't allow ourselves to get fired up over Jesus like we do our favorite sports teams?

Brother Todd, I know you were being rhetorical, but let me offer this answer to your question about why we can't be fired up over Jesus, like we do our favorite teams.  Some people are very private about their faith.  In a way, it is something that is precious and awesome just to them.  So, shouting the name of Jesus in a public forum would betray that inner reverence, i.e., it would let out into the open a part of them that is sacred and personal.  What do you say?

This is a great point that you make in this post.  He that endures to the end shall be saved.

God bless you
