| Poor Timing by my Son-In-Law (please pray) |

Let me first apologize for not posting a picture and blogging about of my oldest daughter's family that now lives with us. My oldest daughter, Danette, will be delivering a baby around mid-July. I might add that the last time her physician checked, this baby might come a tad early. After all, this is number 6 for her. I hope she stops at 6! I don't think she (or I) could handle a full dirty dozen! This baby will be a boy and her other 5 children are girls.
Now for the expecting dad, Duane. How do us guy's get schedules and events all messed up when their wife is about to have a baby?
Generally its a ball game or fishing trip. But since my son-in-law is one of those macho Marine types, he has to do it better. He decides to have appendicitis! It wouldn't surprise me too much if he told the surgery team no anesthesia. Yup, full blown Marine type. LOL
To say the least, this has been an interesting evening. Please keep all of us in prayer. I have been quite ill for the past few days, my wife has been losing a lot of sleep and is under a lot of pressure at her day job. And the dogs? Oh yes, Mel has had diarrhea. And the well-water's pumping system went on the blink. Why now? Naaaaaahhhhhhhh, I'll take this all in stride with a big grin and a good laugh. I'm sure my heavenly Father is getting a laugh out of us about now. Especially watching two blond haired ladies at the center of all activities! Did I mention they are steering the ship right now? Who is at the helm? My wife? LOL
Sooooooo... Please keep all of us in prayer. What a great day in our Lord this is!
Dave

Dear Father, In the name of Jesus, we pray that you would continue to walk with this family and give them all the things that is needed, I pray that you will touch this young father with your hand of healing, and ask that you be with this mother as she goes threw this labor for the six time, Please give Pastor and his wife the comfort and peace that they need and I also ask that if anything needs to be learned form any of the things going on, Please let them learn and use what they learn for your glory , Honor, and praise. Thanks for the prayers! He was out of surgery about noon yesterday. The appendix was removed before it burst. Six hours later, my son-in-law came home and walked up the stairs to his bedroom. It is amazing what can be done with non-invasive surgery these days! TYJ! Dave
P.S. In case you are just coming in on this, the surgery was an appendectomy. |

Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers--keep in mind, even if two blondes are steering the ship and the wife's at the helm, it's the Lord that keeps it afloat! :)
Am glad to know his surgery was successful and he's doing well these days. Next up--the arrival of the 6th one--umm...who knows, would she be going for '7' and stopping there? Not here to cause any alarm or raise any aniexty levels either--
As for you my good friend, you're in my thoughts and prayers that you are doing better and feeling good as well. Do take care!
