I put out a memo last night letting you all know what happened with the sale but in case it was not seen....
The storms were so bad last Saturday that half the town was without power and the other half seemed to be flooded.  The store had no power- it was on the same grid that went out.  They did 4,000 in the first 45 minutes and then BAM- lightening struck one of the major transformers in town.  lol
SO, we're going to do the sale one more weekend and then off to be posted on the Internet for bidding.

OH- and I found out that they are ignoring the Bible requests!! 

Ok, letter.  I'll skip most of the stuff we know already from his phone call.

6-2     Several fights again today.  There were 5 new roll-ins and one of them had a fight within the first few minutes.  One guy just came out of the hole after being there quite a while.  They gave him his stores and a fight ensued to take it from him.  By evening they took it from him.  Anyone who looked at what was going on was threatened.  The frustrating part for me was they used Prayer Call for cover.  We have it in the open area that happens to block the view of this guys cell. 

Then there is the rumor problem.  This whole thing going around that I am a cop undercover.  Remember who I thought was going to be my replacement?  Well, it is him that was told that.  He will not talk to me, come to Bible studies or anything.  He won't even talk to me.  He tells people how angry he is because he was my friend.  He has gotten many others mad at me or not talking to me.  Then of course there are the threats.

6-3     Bible study today was good.  The group was so diverse.  A few of them are ones I never would have thought would come.   All but one are new so I started James again.  Our new cell mate of course felt pretty confident because we have been going through it together at night. 

I got a note today from someone saying how much I have helped him.  God is amazing!  The same guy at Prayer call starts telling all that God has done in his life.  The change in him is - wow.  He was one of the ones that gave me the most trouble and I am surprised at the end result.  He is going home tomorrow.  It makes me re-think some of the guys that won't have anything to do with me because of the Bible. 

6-4    Last night after XXXX said all that God had done for him we put him in the center of our circle and we all prayed over him.   This new group seemed to be a little uncomfortable with it.  But the singing is expected now and no one will allow us to start PC without it. 

One guy came to me after PC to let me know how angry he is with God for letting him be put in here.  It was a long discussion and why I did not write more last night.  I will have to spend more time with him.

I got a letter today from one of the guys that has been out for a several months now.  He is staying clean and reading his Bible.  His relationship with his wife has been totally restored.  He is spending time with his Mother and grandson and loving every minute of it.  God had truly touched him and it shows.  He is such a success story.

The rumors are now hurting the PC and Bible study attendance.  Please pray about it.  Also I cannot rest because I have to stay on my toes with all the threats.
