Evangelist - and a Amen again.

Lara - Who would ever think that contentment would have a learning curve.

"HE WILL PROVIDE FOR OUR EVERY NEED"  He did not say He would provide for our every want..... He provides for our needs so that we are equipped to carry forth his word.  We as a society have to get past wanting everything that we see other people with.  It does not bring happiness, satisfaction or salvation.

Thank you Father for the time you have spent opening my eyes and ears to your word so that I can truly see YOUR PURPOSE in my life.... It not about here and now but life ever after.....

Good word today

We always want what we can not have that is our fleshly nature. BUT OUR GOD supplies ALL our needs according to his riches and glory,, GOD BLESS YOU..

Taking up our crosses to follow our Savior! I do wonder sometimes why some people's crosses are studded with diamonds and rubies, why some are allowed to haul their crosses in the backs of expensive autos, and why some are able to leave their crosses behind for a time while they jetset around the world on expensive vacations.

Matthew 6:33 seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you

Contentment certainly has had a learning curve for me!  I believe God wants us prosperous in our finances--yes, to bless us, but even more so because it takes money and a lot of it to spread the Gospel in this world.  Seeking Him first, keeping Him first, living for Him first--yes, yes, and amen.  Monetary blessings are nice, but whether financial prosperity comes or not my bottomline is "Yet I will praise Him"!

Mstovall - yes again.  God will provide for our every need. This is where contentment should set in.

Tiffany - It's in our sinful nature that we want, and want and want...  but how many will say with God I have enough?

Brad - Thank you.

Mike - that's too easy.  You can do all that you said, if you purchase your cross from a jewelry store.

MaKelly - you go ahead now!

Eagle eye - stop right there, sad but true, some people need lessons on definition:  What does first mean?

Shannon - That's right.

Coreena - God wants us to prosper, I do believe that, however, God's definition of prosper may not match up with ours.

Joey - I can have it all and made my choice I did.   When I have Jesus.  He is my all.

Cheryl - You are right.  Which gets me to thinking, perhaps our wants are off-centered.

There certainly is nothing wrong with being rich. However, I have seen many television preachers. They are fakes and lead peple in the wrong direction. They love money. That is their game. It is too bad they will have a bad time when the Day of the White Throne Judgement comes. I believe God gives me all I need to work for him. But, I would never lie as they do. That's a one way ticket to hell!!

Golden - For too many preachers, and I know first hand, money is their game.  Many are in the pulpit today's for the love of M&M's.  Members and money.

Cheryl - God bless you.
