Adam my son, Katrina my daughter in law,, and Sierra my grand-daughter are heading off to Mexico to help with the deaf children and their needs there. 

Oh what a flood of emotions has hit me today.  Oh God, you are sending my son to serve you in this compacity!!! How much more can a mother be blessed? The years that I prayed for him...asking God to bring him to the point where he will want to turn over his life in service to God...and God answered my prayer and is still working in his life.  And asking God to send him a wife that loves the Lord; and loves him and wants to serve God too. And asking God to bless their union together...in which he gave us Sierra and little Kadence.

The tears fall....not because of sadness....but because I have a great God who is using my family in a great way. And because there is joy in serving Jesus.

And because I can rest assured that He will protect them and give them the strength to do what they have to do. And that God will refine them, and continue to use them as He sees fit.
