| Ants in my Kitchen |

Today I woke up to find ants in my kitchen. Not a major invasion (yet), but enough to definitely hit the very annoying level. I’ve taken some simple stop gap measures to get through until DH (dear hubby) gets home and can take more drastic measures.
As I was fixing lunch, I’m wondering if there’s something I’m supposed to “get” by having ants in my kitchen. It occurred to me that I’m not really surprised by the ants, I’ve seen the odd one or two for several days now. I’ve got enough experience to know that those were scouting me out to see what I had to pillage. I made one comment about it to DH but otherwise, I ignored the warning signals. So today I have ants in my kitchen. If I continue to ignore them, they aren’t going to go away; they’ll just invite more friends. I’m going to have to take some action if I want to correct my problem.
So,if I had paid attention to the warning signs which I recognized, I wouldn't have to battle the ants. Yep, there’s even a scripture to this effect
4:13 Better is a poor and wise youth than an old and foolish king, who will no longer take advice,
The NIV uses "take warning". I like that.
If you’re reading this and are getting warning signs, take action now. Don’t wait until the ants are in your kitchen!
