IT IS PAINFUL TO STOP DOING SOMETHING WE ENJOY TO OBEY GOD
We may think, " That one little sin in my life doesn't matter much to God."
BUT, GOD WANTS ALL OF YOU AND ME.
5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
How can we expect to rise above all our problems going from mountaintop to mountaintop experiences with only a few minutes of effort.
1:2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Wow even if we would put in all that time it would not be to show how wonderful we were, but to reveal God's son in us.
1:16 was pleased to reveal his Son to me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not confer with flesh and blood,
Whether we receive praise or blame, persecution or reward we surrender to "The Love of Christ.
5:14 For the love of Christ controls us, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died.
There will always be temptations for us to look back at that one little sin instead of looking forward to The Love of Christ. Looking to the Love of Christ is the only thing that will bear eternal fruit.
15:5I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
