In times of despair who do you turn to? In times of unanswered prayers who do you rely on? Where do you turn to for comfort in times of need? You know too many times do we search and stress not knowing an answer to our desperation but the end result we look back and can see how he held us together through it all. It is through the process that we feel alone and lost wondering where is he or when is he going to show up? It is because of our reaction to the process do we find out how he held us all the while. Through the despair, and which seemed to be unanswered prayers and in need of comfort he was guiding us through it all. Sitting back waiting..have you ever wondered what God is up to in waiting. This past month I have had several situation in my life and family that I am waiting on the answer from God.In my spirit the Lord tells me just be still. So I wonder, while I am being still and He is sitting back waiting with the answer in his hands what is he waiting for? I feel he is waiting to see how long I will do what he has asked of me. It is like when your child has asked for something very special and you want them to earn it.All the while you are holding the opportunity in your hands just waiting for the moment to give it to your child but hoping that they will do what you have asked of them so you can give it to them. I think that is how God is with us. He is our daddy sitting with our answers in hands reach just waiting for the opportunity to say here my child you have earned it now go be blessed. But he has to wait and see if we are going to be obedient and do as he has asked of us no matter how difficult it is no matter how impatient we get. God will hold it until we are ready, and when he knows we can handle it. All the while we are building up our faith and trust in him. What does the Lord have you waiting on? Is he worth the wait? Think about all he has brought you through thus far and you will know that God is just at hands reach waiting to bless his children.
40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.
