WOW! Thats awesome! God is doing great things here! He's used my obedience to grow me and to touch the lives of two precious little girls named Jennifer and Elizabeth, and One precious little boy! he was quiet and didn't tell me his name but I was able to show him the love of Christ while playing friby with him! it was so fun! I just hugged all over the two girls and all three of them ended up accepting Christ at the end of the program! God's doing great things here in El salvador! we also got the chance to pray for this little boy who was crippled and he wasn't healed but we got the chance to talk to his family and they attend the local church and said that he has been gradually getting better! You could see Jesus all over the little boy! My team and I were so inpressed that he was so happy even though he was crippled! Thats all I have to tell for now! not sure when I can get back on but I'll update you as soon as I can! Natalie |

Maybe it's just me, but I've been amazed at how well the Indiana State government agencies have been working together during this flood disaster. I guess we did learn something from the Northern Indiana flooding that happened at the start of the year. Still, it's going to take lots of miracles to provide for all these folks during this time of tremendous need...not only Indiana, but Iowa, Illinois, etc.
Right as the floods were starting, I received a prophetic word from Marion Christian Center that "the water has been dammed up too long. I'm going to let the overflow start. The dam will eventually open up to make this beautiful lake that many may come and recreate in."
I've been hearing that there is a bridge that is about to be washed out in Owen County, which will affect a 25 square mile area, or something along that magnitude. I do pray for the safety of the people, and for the rebuilding of lives...that they will see it as a fresh start...that they will be able to handle the devastation.
I pray for God's miraculous provision of resources to those in need. I'm believing HIM to show up and to show Himself ABLE! He is our strength when we are weak!
My boss and supervisor are very active in the flood disaster relief efforts for Indiana. I have to believe God is using me in my position to assist...even if I don't even really know what I am doing or saying at times...that's usually when it's ALL God. We have two FEMA folks hanging out in our office, as well as some nice folks who are trying to secure large donations of needed items from companies. Please pray for the provisions to come.
There is a HUGE need for baby formula, diapers, cleaning supplies, buckets, rakes, brooms, mops, drinking water, etc. If anyone wants to give, just drop these items off at your local Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Governor Daniel's is providing updates from all involved government agencies on the Indiana State website at www.in.gov (just click the link for storm relief information). Spread the word! |

| I just am reminded that we all need each other. Even when there isnt a crises. Or a church service. We just need each other to lift each other up in prayer, to give a hug, or say l love you. Or not even anything that personal. Just someone who cares enough to be a part of our lives. I think that it is great that we reach out when there is a crises, and that we help those in need of physcial things. But what about the emotional aspect of life? When do we get around to that? Sometimes what is fixed in the emotions trickles over to the spirit. Then the spirit is ready to recieve. When we are loved we are open, we trust. When we are loved we are open. When we are accepted we feel loved. When we feel loved we can conquer the world. Have doubts about that statement? Just take a look at the children who come from really bad and dysfunctional homes with violence, unacceptance, rejection, and the list sometimes goes on. They have the will to fight, but they are so bruised they cant fight. Not for what is good. There fore they usually dont conquer the world. But take a child who comes from a home full of love, acceptance, and all of the good things in life. They are ready to go out and conquer the world. And they know it. Love is the key no matter what the present surcumstances. Weather there is a flood or a great sunny day. We just dont stop and take the time to notice until something bad happens to us. I wonder what would happen if we purchased diapers, encouraged those at resturants, spoke Gods heart to those that we meet up with while out shopping. Sat and listened to a teen when they needed someone to talk to, or a mom, or a dad, or a child. Encouraged our spouses at the startof the day. Knelt down and prayed for each other in fervant prayer daily. It might blow our minds some of the things that God might say to us. Love you guys, Theresa |

Wow!! Thank you Theresa. When you said the phrase "someone who cares to be apart of our lives" is exactly what our heart is. I still find is soooo easy to be tooooo busy. But to have your family being a part of ours just blesses us so much. I know God wants to connect our families even closer. We must make time.
God Bless |

| I am glad you replied. I was alittle worried that i stepped out of line with my response to your blog. I actually read it for the first time while having a very bad day. I didnt reply that day. But relpied a few days later. Then when i went back and reread the blog it actually said a testimony from someone who has been dealing with the flood or its victims. Sorry. Thanks for your family's friendship too. We love you guys too. |
