*sighs* *Whew*! What a day! It was a good day today tho. We only had 9 kids today tho. Gideon was on vacation, CJ went home sick. {He had a high fever. Poor baby!  Plus, the fact, that his little finger was swollen to its normal size and he was rubbing his left ear. His sister had slammed the door on his finger, and than, when she went to take it out of the door, she pulled it out. {WITH the door still closed on it I gather. I know! OWCH! VERY painful!!! Poor baby!!  } He left @ 12:30 along with Jayla. So that gave us... 7 kids left. Because Maycie never showed up. So...}
I guess ya'll haven't heard the news or why I'm so happy right now. Well, monday, I came into work, normal time ya know... So, I said good morning to everybody including anna. {Our cook.} And of course, she grumbled. LOL. Well, I shrugged it off, and of course she got an attitude with me. Well, Chandler, one of our 3's had come in right? His mom of course had dropped him off. So, Anna comes in there WITH her camera, and starts VIDEOTAPING the child!!! She was following him around the room and videotaping Chandler and than, she showed it to his dad, and thought it was funny and cute, and here the child was CRYING and screaming! If that were MY child??? I would've comforted him!!! HELLO!!! Poor baby!
Because here anna was following him around the room and who would want their picture taken??? AND videotaped??? Right??? So, his dad got real upset about it, and told Heather, well, heather told kelly, and so monday afternoon, she comes in to fill in for my co-worker, but there was Shannon, our regional director, heather, our new director, AND kelly, our head director, well, they called her into the office, and, the next thing anna was walking out of {I was on lunch break than, I ALWAYS miss something good! LOL.} the center and she was mad, LOL. Probably because she didn't want to own up to what she had done either. But she flew out of that parking lot mad. LOL. Gathered her stuff and left! So... no more anna!! WOOHOO!! LOL. So, when my co-worker told me, I was like, on the outside, WHAT?? ANNA got fired??? But u know what?? Really? On the inside???
I was shouting up a storm!!! LOL. Because, do you know how long she has been ugly to me??? For 3 long yrs! TOO long! So, I'm thanking God for answering my prayer!! I am sooooo sleepy!!! I've been taking my co-worker back and forth into work every day this week, and I'm finally going to be able to rest tomorrow. O wait. I can't do it tomorrow morning, because I've already committed myself. I have to be @ the church tomorrow morning for to pass out flyers for our VBS. Yes! It's next week!! Can u believe??? And... so is our youth camp!!! I wonder if Kendrik's sister, Emily will be going to camp?? Hm... I'll ask her sunday. We don't have sunday school sunday morning in the 9am service, because its Father's Day. And after church on sunday, me, mom, and roselyn, and maybe lillian will go and visit daddy's grave on sunday after church. For those of you who don't know.
My dad went home to be with the Lord on April 5th, 2007. I still miss him, because I'm REALLY going to miss him this sunday! Do ya'll realize that, this past wednesday, was his birthday? And that he would have been 76 yrs old? Yup. *sighs* So, anyways... I've been working on my school work, I finally, so far, I've gotten back assignments 1-3, I got a "B" on assignment 1, and on assignments 2 and 3, I got a "C" and a "D". I hope I don't fail this class, because, if I do, Kelly will take it out of my paycheck like she did with my co-worker.
Anyways... Otis has been calling me, and he sent me a 15 page letter already. LOL. So... Anyways... and than, Lawrence has been calling me too. LOL. {He's a penpal from ms.} {Hoo boy! I better go get the dog in soon!!! He's still out there! I forgot he was out there! LOL. Poor baby! LOL.} LOL. Sounds like teddy's howling @ something outside. LOL. I don't know whether or not, oh wait! Yes I do!!! This sunday, me and Sis. Kathy will get to go and pick up the deaf lady from the nursing home!!!  Can you believe??? YESS!!!
So, me and kathy will meet in the sanctuary, go and pick her up, I'm going to call them up tomorrow morning, from the house, and also before I leave for church, and, I'm going to call them up and ask if they can get ms. jones ready for sunday morning because me and kathy will pick her up @ 10:30 in the morning. So that she can go to church with us sunday morning. I'm excited about it. Because, I've been asking her, and asking her if she wanted to go to church sunday morning, and so this sunday morning, this coming sunday morning, on Father's day, she gets to go to church!!! Isn't that awesome? And she's a sweet 95 yr old lady!! This is gonna be a fun sunday!!!
Hehe... And a good one @ that!!! LOL. Well, I'm head for bed, I've got to get the dog in. And see if he'll come in, {Yeah, he's still out there. LOL.} and than, get myself a drink and head for bed. I guess I'll sleep in my own bed tonite, I miss my bed, I also miss the light in this computer room!!! Grrr!! But the light switch is so high, that, if I climbed onto that chair that's near daddy's art table? I'm afraid I might fall. {Yes, I'm deathly afraid of heights!!} So, I'll wait! LOL Everybody have a GREAT weekend! And to all the Father's out there!! Happy Father's Day! To all the daughter's out there, who HAVE a father?
Count your blessings! And be sure to give your dad a hug because I don't have a father to look up to this father's day. My father went home to be with the Lord last yr in the month of april. So, daughters, sons, don't ever hold a grudge against your father, love him, respect him, pray for him, and pray with him, and he will be the best dad you ever had! Well, I'm starting to get writer's/typer's cramp. LOL. From typing too much... so, have a great weekend! And enjoy it while you all can! LOL. Because u know monday will be here sooner or later! LOL. By the way, Bridget is our new cook now.
