24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and [my] hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but [that] with all boldness, as always, [so] now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether [it be] by life, or by death. You can choose. Whether to do good or to do evil, It is your choice.God has provided a way for each of us to overcome the trials in this world. He promises to never forsake us. He is always there. However we just don't turn to him. We often try to "do it on our own. Usually because we want to do it our own way and not His. We usually walk right into the trouble ourselves simply because we don't really trust Him. We haven't learned to take Him at His word. An unsaved person may try to get to heaven based on their own works. A saved person may try to overcome a trial by dealing with it themselves and not praying about it. Instead start with your attitude. What is the center of your life Christ or self. If you start each day with prayer and bible study. Then meditate(think) about what you read and pray as you go through your day. You will find that your "attitude" will be much improved. This doesn't mean everything will be easy. Just that you will have a different perspective on "things". He will provide everything you need to make it possible to do whatever He has called you to do. However He gives you free choice. To do good or evil. God never goes back on His promises. He is always there waiting for you to turn to Him. 13:5 [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. |
