Dad
He taught me how to ride a bike and babysat my dolls, He played tea party, he played house, he protected me from harm. He put himself in danger’s path when he taught me how to drive. He showed me how to pay my bills, love the Lord and testify. A smile would spread upon his face when he saw his children win. He planted seeds in our lives to shield our souls from sin. As we grew and birthed our own, he stood like a redwood tree. He held these brand new lives in his hands and spoke blessing over each Legacy. Daily we honor his walk in life by the things we do and say to spread a bit of his light and love to those we meet each day. Happy Father’s Day! (In memory of C. Young) Nike M. copyright 2008 |
