6:24When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus. 6:25And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither? 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. 6:27Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
We are all eager to give up our shames, sorrows,tears, sicknesses, poverties,all the pains of life to Jesus.
He takes them all gladly, but He still wants more from us . He wants those things that gives us joy,pleasure, and comfort.
WHY?
Because anything we value above Jesus Christ gives the devil a foothold. It's the things we value most that will decide what we will do in critical situations. If Jesus is our greatest value we will do our Heavenly Father's will just like He did.
The fullness of life is freedom from idols.
The power not to put anything above God.
This is the will of God, that we believe in Jesus. That we trust in Him above all else.
There are three heavenly realms I want to be in. The heavenly realm of courage to step into the unknown with just the knowledge that Jesus will be with me.
The heavenly realm of power to do our heavenly father's will
Two simple things, He is not asking us to give up life, but to trust in the one who created it.
We think we are so smart, but we always do things backwards. Trusting in things created instead of the creator. Thank God our thoughts or not His thoughts....
Oh yeah that reminds me the 3rd heavenly realm God's wisdom lol oh my gosh
If I had started with that one how much more could we have gotten out of all of this.
