I was reading my notes from Church the other day and decided to post some of the words of wisdom from my Pastors. In times of trial (as I am going through right now), I think we should go back to our notes. Sometimes we forget the wisdom passed on to us by our Pastors. And this wisdom can be such a help when you really need it. I wish my Pastors would put some of their wisdom onto CD's and make them available to everyone around the world. I know if I find great wisdom and guidance in these, there are others who would as well. This is just a small portion of some of the things in my notes. Pastor and Mrs W, please correct me if I messed anything up.
God does things by faith, you can't just snap your fingers and make it happen.
The more we study the Bible, the more we get out of it.
God says, I can, so you can. Ignoring something doesn't make it go away.
Horizontal people crawl, vertical people RUN. We have to take it from point A to point B, be a vertical thinker.
You have to stand up in Christ, if your not going to, who will?
You will never be smarter then the devil. But you can overpower him. Prayer works!
Ask God regularly "Am I saved?"
Authority is Authority, the devil hates people with authority.
God knows what you need, BEFORE you need it. But you still have to ask for it. Be faithful, pray, and obey.
I am the beloved apple of His eye.
God will do anything to get to you. He loves you.
You are the Ark of the covenant, the dwelling place of God!
He is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for honest people, real people, worshipers.
The closer you are to God, the more the devil does not want to be near you.

You are a somebody
Prayer can make a difference, there is power in prayer.
You are not alone, God is always with you.
You are anointed because of Jesus.
You are in a covenant with God (covenant=binding contract, alliance)
You have power over the enemy, you have the word, blood & name.
Love never fails.
If the Holy Spirit is in you, you are anointed.
The willing and obedient shall live abundantly.
To be a giant killer we have to sit at the masters feet and make him #1
God wants us to be supernatural thinkers.
Be transparent to the Lord, open up to him.
I can not be word illiterate, I need to know the word of God.
Ask God for things you need, boldly, with faith and in agreement with God.
God will never cut you off.
God's love will get you through tough times.
Let God work through you. What are you doing for Go? Be busy for God.
Very little of the things of God are financial.
The word of God is our cornerstone, so we can grow straight.
We need to get our mind, will and emotions right with God.
Believe as if it is already so, like there can be no other outcome.
Whatever you do habitually, becomes reality.
Because of Jesus Christ, I have everything I need to succeed.
God is Good!
The starting point to getting your life to prosper is to start believing.
This is just from one of my notebooks I have 2 more, I will post more later.

Awesome stuff, I too take notes in church , will have to take a look see and post some.
Missed u too and mychurch SO GREAt to be back, but computer still isnt right :( maybe it is just Vista Uggggggg....God Bless you sweetie , Keepum coming!! |
