| Who is He and what is He to you? |

Philippians 2:9-11 KJV; Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father. As if we didn't have enough things to contend with, our spiritual brethren the Jewish people say that we call God the Father and Jesus Christ by the wrong names. The arguments are supported by much research, documentation and historical data, but even a liar can present evidence to support his views, especially if he wants to sound convincing. All a liar needs is someone that will believe the lie. So what is all the hooplah about? A horse by any other name is still a horse. I don't know what Adam called that animal because I wasn't there. I just know that if the Bible says that Adam named the animals that is what I accept. So what about the name of Jesus? Well let's start by looking at the name of Jesus. Jesus is a translation of the Greek name "Iesous" (pronounced "[ee]yeh-sooce"). "Iesous" came over into the Latin "Jesu" (pronounced "yehsoo") and it was directly translated into English as "Jesus." All original manuscripts of the New Testament exist in Greek. Jesus is the English pronouncement of our Lord and savior the Messiah. Yeshua is also correct as it derives from the Hebrew Joshua which is a type of Christ Yeshua is the Hebrew pronunciation of Iesous. For anyone to suggest that Yeshua or Yahushuah is the correct pronunciation must asume that we all speak modern Hebrew. The fact is that the name Jesus in any language has power. I don't have a problem with the name Jesus. In fact it is my first name which was also my earthly father's name. I pronounce it in the English translation although a lot of people have told me they don't feel comfortable with calling me Jesus so they attempt to use the Spanish pronunciation (Hay-soos) which sounds more like a sneeze. Other Puerto Ricans and my brothers and sisters call me by the English pronunciation. Regardless of how you choose to pronounce my name it still means the same thing in either language. So whether I say Jesus in English or in Spanish or Hebrew or any other language it still means the same thing to me. My name Jesus to me is just my name. In hispanic culture it is actually a very common name as many hispanics have biblical names which derives from the heavy Catholic influence on the culture. But the name of Jesus in reference to Christ is another matter altogether. I know who He is and what He is to me. I also know who I am and what I am in Him. Ok so what about the name of God? Some say Yahweh, some say Jehovah. You say tomato and I say tomahto, You say potato and I say potahto. Tomato, tomahto, potato, potahto . lol! I call him God and some say that's wrong. You can call me anything you want. Just don't call me late for dinner. I'm a prophet and I've been used to hearing God's voice for as long as I've lived. If He had any problem with what I called Him I'm sure He would have told me by now. I know one thing for sure though. When I call on Him He hears me, and He responds. Just like it says in Jeremiah 33:3. When I talk to Him He knows who I'm talking to. When I speak in Tongues I don't even know what I'm saying but I know it's the Spirit interceding, so I let Him have His way. If someone has a problem with what I choose to call God let him fight with God about it. The only one that really has a problem with the name Jesus is the devil because that name has power over him. I know that when I use the name of Jesus to cast out an unclean spirit the devils flee. When I pray for the sick in the name of Jesus they get healed. When I pray in the name of Jesus the power of God manifests. When I speak about the name of Jesus people tremble. There is POWER in that name! I don't know who He is or what He is to you. All I have to worry about is who He is and what He is to me! Shalom |

Oh yes my friend there is indeed POWER in the name of JESUS! That name has been highly exalted above every name....and the bible says that demons even tremble at the name of JESUS! So when I need a friend....I call on JESUS...When I need help....I call on JESUS....When I need JOY...I call on JESUS...He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or think.....LOL..LOL.....
And it's good to know that when I call on JESUS....I'm also calling on GOD....Because He and the Father are One! Oh let's take a look and see something else...Jesus said..
John 5:43
I am come in My Father's name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive
Do yall see that....Jesus said He came in His Fathers name....So if we call *Him* JESUS....Guess what everybody....The Fathers name is JESUS
John 1:1-2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
So Who is He and What is He to Me....He is my EVERYTHING....He's Alpha and Omega...The Beginning and the End! Is He awesome or what ;o)
