Malachi 3:10 RSV

Have you ever gone to a resturaunt over and over again because you love the food but walked out with out paying?  If the church you are attending right now is spiritually feeding you and you are not paying your tithe then you are doing the same thing. 
I will tell you that I do not agree with churches that say send money to me and you will become mega blessed.  I believe the tithe is to go to the local church  where you receive the most spiritual food.
If your church is not feeding you spiritually it is better to look for a location in your city or providence that will feed you than to send your money across the country to someone you don't know how is spending the funds.  Now if you feel led by the Holy Spirit to send a distant ministry an offering then that is fine, but alway go with the Holy Spirits lead when you send offering.
