10:17 faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
Do you ever use White Out? (You know what I'm talking about -- that liquid that comes in a tiny bottle that you dab on paper to cover your mistakes.)
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was a White Out to erase our shame and guilt in life? Well, there is a White Out for you. But it won’t do you any good if it stays in the little bottle. Why not open your White Out and use it to erase your personal guilt?
How’s this for some powerful White Out? Jewish prophet, Isaiah, said: “Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be white as snow.” As Paul said: “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.”
A heart-felt, obedient faith in Jesus Christ and His Blood will remove your guilt, and it comes by hearing the Word of God. Don’t believe me? Try Bible White Out! Do this. Read the New Testament at least five minutes a day for 21 days. And don’t miss a single day. That’s all. Stay with it, even if at first you become more aware of your sin. That is called conviction and is part of the process to repentance and saving faith.
I have challenged hundreds of people to try Bible White Out for 21 days. Many people are too lazy to read 5 minutes a day and give up after a few days or a couple of weeks. But those who stick with the White Out Challenge for 21 days come back to me and tell me of amazing results.
Why not try it? What have you got to lose? |

| Steve, just need you to make a correction. This is what you wrote: ” And the writer of the ancient book of Hebrews said: “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” The verse is in Romans 10:17. Other than that, Kudos Steve. Another good post. |

What do I have to lose? My filthly stinking rotten past that is what! :) Seriously, though you are speaking of what the Apostle John wrote. "Through the washing of the Word." His word purifies us.

| Good stuff, here, Steve. So I was wondering...have you ever opened up your bottle of white-out only to find that it is dried up? What's up with that? |
