We are having revival next month preceding this our pastor has been giving us sermons on 12 revivals of God's people in the old testament to prepare us.
This week it was on Nehemiah
I will not go through the whole sermon but just mention a few things
This book is dealing with the church not being where God wants it. Fasting and Praying and self examination making sure we are pointing people in the right direction against all oppositions.
The title of this blog is supporting the truth and blogging.
This is what I want to share in chapter 8 of Nehemiah
When you read it if you notice Ezra read from early morning till noon. And everyone stood up when he began. He had 6 men on his right 7 on his left
Then Ezra blessed the Lord and again everyone said "Amen" and lifted their hands toward heaven; then bowed and worshiped the Lord with their face toward the ground.
As Ezra read the 13 men went among the people and explained the meaning of the passage that was read.
This is my point Still everyone began sobbing
This is why we need to listen very carefully to the truths we have heard so that we don't drift so far away that we are sad when we hear the word of God but rejoice in it.
That is why we need to support our ministers an share these truths with others any way we can and blogging is a wonderful way to share God's Truth.
My friends in Christ I plan to do as Peter did
1:12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know [them], and be established in the present truth.
So that we can always have holy joyful celebration because we can hear and understand God's words
As our pastor always tells us don't believe what I say but check God's words out for your self and if it matches up to what I say than believe.
God Bless you all and be Joyful
