Beautiful blog... could hear and see the peace in your words.  God is doing GREAT things in the midst of this year of your life; you will not even smell of smoke when it's over.   Praise God for MOM... and that you (His angels) are there with her showing her the Way.

Bless you bless you bless you bless you... 1,000 times.  (Deut 1:11)
Love and agreement for ALL you need, want, and are hoping for through Faith in HIM.

The funnest part was reading the calendar!
In the Sept photo I wanted to show what it says under the pic of the Mom and son.
It is back to school lunch ideas in red letters. (flash messed it up- urg)
it reads....Taste-tempting, mouth watering.... here's an ideal menu for the child who is about to start school and carry lunches.  Not only is it appealing, but it is nutritionally right:
Poppy seed roll with salami and lettuce
potato chips
pickle slices
carrot curls
radish roses
peach slices with cinnamon
cokies
milk

LOLOL... what did they cary!?!?!?!?

Ahhhhhhhhhh, my dear Bub "The dust bunny killer", ya passed the test!!!!!! Love the pics...and can't wait until tomorrow!
BTW.....I used to have to make radish roses and carrot curls, LOLOLOL......when I was a teenager working in a military kitchen, LOLOLOL I could really decorate food beautifully.....just couldn't cook it, ROTFLOL, but it was pretty!!!!!!
Now I know that my mom wasn't June Cleaver, cause I started school that year and I ate in the lunchroom, LOLOLOL This will be my excuse now for all the bad I've done in my life!

LOLOL... OMGosh!!!
See, I can cook- and used to do it for a LARGE group all the time! But did not have the time to make it so pretty.  So the two of us in the kitchen... *phew*

YES! I hate dust bunnies!  No matter how cute they are!  hehe

Oh, now I am a good cook, but as a teenager nope! The biggest group I ever used to cook for....well, me and 7 other cooks cooked for 3000 per meal, LOLOL
When I got married, I couldn't cook....had to read the package to know how to make kool-aid! Family now would love me to open a restaurant.....I have the head knowledge ( business management in college) can cook ( and have the type of place I want, all homemade) but I don't want to spend my whole life running a business like that, LOLOL

Ah ha!  Sounds like you learned the way I did.  I was 17 and cooking for a family of 4.
I tried something big one day- it was a blackened mess!!
Time to go out to eat!  LOL

Bub, I made gravy once as a teenager, mom was in the hospital.......the spoon would stand straight up in it, it didn't even qualify as glue, and the dogs wouldn't even eat it, LOLOL
Then when we first got married, we had our first dinner guest. I made spaghetti, ROTFLOL....when hubby's friend went to pull the sphagetti out onto his plate.....the whole glob came out of the bowl, all stuck together, ROTFLOL

Love the reading nook -- and of course, ELVIS!  ;)  When I was a little kid, my kinfolk talked about him so much that I assumed he was one of my cousins.

You're bringing restoration and refreshment to everything you touch! :)
