| my 2 cents... makes no sense!! |

Have you ever noticed when you don't things "God's Way" everything around you can start going wrong? Even the things you weren't even doing wrong, can take a bad turn for the worse when you step off the path....Ever try to do something "your own way".... even though you already KNOW the Lord would have you do it differently, yet you do it your way anyhow, and boom! Down you fall!?
What in the world motivates man- ( a saved man.. especially )to do anything without God, without prayer, with out His counsel first? Good question huh? If someone knows, please comment back to me, because lately, my life has been like a scratched up record.. and I continue to skip in some of the same areas of my life that I know the Lord would have me handle differently than the way I have been doing.
And yet in my infinite wisdom, I do it my way.... and inevitably I fail. Below is the verse on Mychurch today. Hmmm. ..... do you think the Lord is saying something?
30:16 If you obey the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you this day, by loving the LORD your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, then you shall live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you are entering to take possession of it. "Lord give me the wisdom to respond and appreciate everytime I am given a word straight from you. Encourage me to seek your answer first before applying my own insight and my own 2 cents.... because after all .... anything i do that does not involve you first Lord... well that makes no cents!! |

| Sounds like your head is spinning Tam. How are your quiet times? Morning time ok? Do you stop in the middle of the day to refocus on the Lord also? The times I've been most consistently spending time w/God, really good time w/him, have also been the times I've seen his guiding most clearly in my life. It's hard to turn away from him and follow my own course when my heart is beating for him. |

| Amen Tammy, God's ways are best. When I think about how totally short our life is on earth (this life), and how eternity rolls on and on, and on, and on, and on............., I think it puts things in proper perspective. Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe !!! Pleasing Him, above all others........hmmm. He helps ! |

So true Paul!, knowing His way is best, is only the half of it!! Trusting,and always following HIS way!! I am changing my focus on this earth.... Gods way or the highway!! |

| I know, I am worse than Simon Cowell on myself somtimes!! Thanks for always giving a beautiful word of encouragement. I count "knowing you and having you as a trusted friend" one of the many blessings the Lord has placed in my life. |
