Its late here...or maybe early///it's 2:08am and my head won't shut-off.
I am pressed on every side by the day...then I look at my daughter's sweet cheeks that I love so much...when she was born, she was born deceased and her cheeks were the first thing I saw from my C-Section staggered mental state...all I remember is her cheeks and then going out.
My loved ones are in disarray and far away by travel but not by prayer and love....God answered many acute prayers in even my phone service staying on....
I'm not disgruntled about life if you know me...I know I AM has me in the cleft of the rock...but as I lay here and daydream I see a small boy in a pocket on the side of a huge steep mountain. Without being in a specialty field, one can see he will die in there, for there is no way out, and no nourishment. How did He get there?
As I lay here and listen to the fan blow the warm air around the room, I feel God's prompting to come closer. My mind and heart begin praying and I ask God, "what are you showing me?" We zoom in closer to the tiny opening in the rock...inside is a fire, and food, and laughter. I immediately think to myself...this boy doesn't even realize he will die soon.....but then God shows me His hand....literally, His hand placed the boy in there for safety. As the buzzards of life come by and as life and resources run low...God provides. So sit back, enjoy, and let God keep those in the rock that He has placed there for this season.

I have been in that place more than once -- something happened - promotion, breakthrough, visitation, I don't know really what to call it -- really I can't find the right word to call it -- all I know now is I make "house calls" to the rock --- God says, "We deliver" ----
I wish I could be more romantic about it -- but that is about it -- and if for some reason - none to which I want in Jesus' Name, find myself in that place again -- I know HE DELIVERS!

Hello my 109 year old (and looking younger by the day) :-)
I know that feeling about not shutting off. All I'm going to say is, just keep on keepin' on. Do your best and be your best. What more can people ask for? |
