A TIME OF GREAT AND JOYFUL CELEBRATION BECAUSE WE CAN HEAR AND UNDERSTAND GOD'S WORDS
8:12 And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.
How is this accomplish?
Because of God's grace it is accomplish from beginning to end.
2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
3:14But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [vail] is done away in Christ. 3:15But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 3:16Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. The veil of misunderstanding can only be removed by believing in Jesus Christ
1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
How do we keep it going?
Faith is the door of virtue.
1:25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [ therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1:9But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 1:12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know [them], and be established in the present truth.
Our service is our proof of our love
2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let [them] slip.
Be gentle souls who love others, showing the world the humility and kindness of God supporting His Truth. So that all may join in this joyful celebration of hearing and understanding of God's Words.
Smile God loves you and so do I
