I love you!  Hey, did I ever tell you I know cars? :) Well, a little bit about them too...but I don't guess you really know exactly what is wrong with it. Anyway...praying, loving, lifting you up! Always!

Well my dear sister I can most definately relate to you on this one....I have been having CAR problems for the past 2 weeks.....My car has been stopping on me in the middle of the street going to work and coming home from work.....I finally took it to one well known car mechanic shop, hoping not to get ripped off.....Well they lied to me and tried to tell me I need close to $400 worth of work...I told them to do the work....dahhhhh but when they took the car apart they said that they realized that they did not have to tools to fix it....OK....OK....well....so I go to pick it up...get there they still haven't put my car back together and want to charge me $97 dollars to do NOTHING but look for a problem, which THEY DIDNT FIX....

I leave there...and press on to the dealer praying........They do another diagnostic....I tell them what the other people said was the problem....dahhhhhhh.......They said...that was NOT the problem..they said they couldn't find those problems wrong with it....Cost me another $103 for checking to find nothing....BUT....something IS wrong with my car....unless the DEVIL IS JUST IN IT (smile).......So I go back to driving it....The service engine light still coming on...and car still shutting off.....(in the middle of the street mind you...smile).....I press on..PRAYING AND PRAYING...Lord please let me make it home.....Well I made it home yesterday, after it cut off on me a couple of times.....This morning I left the car there (home)...and tomorrow will proceed to another car mechanic to try to find out what's wrong with it....Sooooooo yes my sister...I know all about being on the side of the road......and I'm sure there is a lesson to be learned from all of this.....Hang tough my friend....we shall get through this test!......You pray for my car....and I'll pray for yours..LOL...LOL....I just got to laugh....instead of cry ;o)  So far spent $200 for NOTHING.....dahhhhhhh

Cheryl : hubby said there is no such thing, LOLOL.........but I will be praying!!!!
I had my thermostat go out once on the road, (within two blocks of my dealership)pouring anti-freeze everywhere........I took it into the dealership and they wanted $60 to put a gal of anti freeze in it....it was one of my "not nice" moments. I told the guy that I could rebuild the motor, I was not stupid and I would walk to Walmart and buy a gal of anti freeze before giving him $60 for one! Then, I asked for my keys, and he told me I had to sign a paper that they weren't responsible for damage if I drove it off the lot......again, I wasn't nice......told him that what he thought I didn't know, I did and I knew what to do with a car with the thermostat not working that would get it home where I wouldn't be ripped off. I drove off, stopped at Walmart and put in my own anti-freeze and limped my car home.

Maranatha...oh, I definately know that and believe it, but there are 40 to 50 different trials at the same time, He will not give me more than I can handle, so I am asking if there is something He is showing me more than I can see or something I am missing maybe.  I am definately listening...it may just be a refining place but the heat on the stove has got to be maxed out over 4 months ago! haha

Father, You know the need.
We are asking you send someone who can do the work for cheap.
In Jesus Name we all are in agreement

"Lord, I pray and spend time with you...what more is there?"  You may ask.  Or what about,  "God, are you trying to teach me something else"?  Hey, what about, "God, are you trying to wear me completely out?"

You know Cheryl, I think this is so real.  It is where you say that, and the Lord says "This is why."  Not as a means to condemn you, but to grow you closer to Him.  It's in those times when the real issues of our hearts bubble to the surface.  Which is the time when Jesus can really cleanse our hearts and grow us closer to Him.
Really beautiful Cheryl.  :)  Keep being real and He will keep being real.

I am praying for you, my dear friend!  Ugh, I intensely dislike car trouble.  Maybe, just maybe, these trials are more about the enemy trying to take you out because you are on the edge of a break through rather than the Lord trying to teach you something.  Just a thought...

Darn, Jobette!  Geesh! Yes, God's got you covered, and that includes expenses. Love you and just keep clinging--for dear life--to the cross.

Oh Cheryl... like Coreena there is nothing worse than car trouble for a lady of God!!   (Except for our Cindy Lou, of course! Ha!)   I know God doesn't have to bring trouble to teach you something however (in the case of Job) He does allow pressure into our lives to produce something greater.  I always say, "Pressure Produces"... and at that time of great pressure I have to trust and see with my spiritual eyes that He is producing GREAT on the inside (and outside) of me.

A couple of months ago the pressure was so great that (for the first time in my life) I could not do it alone.   God sent little helper angels (friends) onto the scene to help me.   Friends flew in to CA from everywhere to take & share the load that was upon me...

So I pray not only for a free mechanic who needs to give of his time and talents... but also for angel friends who can help take the load off so your 40 or 50 trials seem more like 3 or 4 to you.

The burden is HIS and not yours... don't feel burdened down but continue to give them to Him and trust, rest, relax in His arms.   He wants you to crawl up on His lap and snuggle... sound good?

PRESSURE PRODUCES, beautiful girlfriend.   I promise something GREAT is on the horizon.   Get your binoculars out... OMGSH, it's HUGE.    The greater the pressure the greater the promise.  OMGSH!!

Love you...

Having been broken down on the side of the road too many times to count (and usually with at least 5 of my 7 kids along), I've had to realign my thinking a LOT.  With the kids beside me, I knew I couldn't show fear. :)  We'd pray and ask the LORD to send along the "just right" person -- and He always did!  We've met foreigners, bikers, farmers, ranchers, truckers, homeschoolers, and lots of law enforcement folks -- and every single time it has been a delight!  Only God can take such a crummy event and turn it into a fun adventure!  (And that's especially important when we've been far from home and are traveling in the wee hours of the morning!)  I've had people tell me that we broke down on the worst, most dangerous places imaginable -- but, as you know Ms. Cheryl, God ain't skeered o' those places!  He just surrounds you with even more angelic protection.  How blessed we are, huh?  I love that you share all these moments -- that can either make us or break us -- and how, no matter how frustrating or scary it is, YOU OVERCOME!  You really CAN do all things through Christ Who strengthens you, can't ya? :)  Yep, I could tell.
