Do you know how hard it is to keep yourself from everyday corruption? When we look around us, looking at the newspaper, turning on the TV or even listening to IPods, that is if you really want to waste your time with silliness (that is my opinion) For me to listen to a small piece of brightly wrapped synthetic, well it is just not me... But seriously, trying to live a pure and holy life in our world today is not that easy.... Thank God, that is why He allowed His Son, Jesus to come and be a part of our world, then place Himself upon the cross, dying for my sins (yes, and yours as well) then raising from the dead, giving us The Holy Spirit to provide us secruity every day. Protecting us, guarding us, keeping us from all harm. Oh, I know what you are about to say, but we still have the world and all its pleasures to corrupt us; yeah, you are right, but we also still have THE HOLY SPIRIT helping us to walk away from the things that will harm us. That is why Paul wrote to the people of Galatia. If we want to sow bad things, corrupt things in our lives, we can, but we will end up reaping all the nastiness of life, but if we sow with THE SPIRIT, allowing Him to help us in living our lives and striving every day, we then will reap all the goodness, the righteous stuff that only He can help us to achieve.
