We arrive at my mom's which is about 5 hours from our new appointment and had a great nights rest. We wake up and go do some errands. We were hungry as it was a little after lunch and Tyler said 'he wanted to eat at that place with the purple grapes' which translates to Olive Garden. We had a little bit of a wait of 8 minutes and then we were seated. The waiter came and took our drink order and we also said we were ready to order...soup and salad, a cheese pizza and a bowl of plain noodles. Easy right? We got our drinks.......and 30 minutes later still had no bread sticks, no salad and no other food of any kind. The older people who were seated next to us-after us-had everything including their meal. They were so nice that they even offered us bread sticks for the kids....my hubby said "oh I am sure that the waiter will be here any minute" and about that time he walked by carrying drinks for another table; he had to pass us on the way back to the kitchen and didn't even look our way! No, it will be out in a minute....no I'm sorry I'm busy NOTHING! and my hubby said "That's it we are leaving" So I shuffled my way to the check in desk, told the manager we were leaving and why, and said all we had gotten was our drink order and it was on them! One waiter stood there listening to me in total shock! I said I had never received such bad service from a waiter ever! I was very nice trying to not cry because Tyler really wanted to eat there.....we have tried to keep the last couple of days normal....fat chance! So....................... That leads me to another drama, on the way back to my mom's house, I asked Tom what time we are leaving in the morning? He said, did you grab the keys? I said what keys? He said the keys to the quarters that the officers mailed us? I said nope never saw them! I am not sure what exactly he said in his mind but I can only imagine! We have to leave early to call a locksmith when we get there, we may be staying in a hotel tomorrow night....not sure! So how many of you had your new quarters keys mailed to you in all the crazyness of the week? Just wondering, we handed the Michels a key when they came down to look at everything. It was just another ordinary day in our life at Camp TG! |
