I am trying to incorporate praise as a habit no matter what the circumstance. When I think about what God has done in my life - His faithfulness - I am overwhelmed with gratitude and love for Him. I will never be able to thank Him enough for His saving grace, patience, and love.

Gary, it's a shame that we have to sometimes be reminded, but yours and Cami's post have reminded me...Sometimes God Himself will remind me...I have been standing at the sink washing dishes and feel the presence of God sweep over me seemingly out of no where...I am a person that likes to finish things first no matter what so it's hard for me to stop a task right away...That's the obsessive compulsive in me..haha...Anyway, when I feel God's Spirit like that, it will bring me to my knees even with dish soap on my hands...I remember after 9/11 Shoney's gave away this little bookmark that read, "God Bless You"...I still have it on Jimmy's and my bedroom mirror at the top right corner...Once I was kneeling to pray at our recliner and while praising God, I wanted to praise Him more, praise that He is worthy of...I looked up and saw the words, "God Bless You" and I said it to God, I said, "God, God Bless You"...I knew if anyone knew how to praise God, God did...Although it may sound silly, I know that God liked it because I felt His Spirit even more powerfully than before...I sometimes get caught up in this earthy stuff and forget to stop and praise God like He deserves and I forget to pray like I ought and this makes me ashamed of myself...I heard a preacher say once that we can be so heavenly minded that we are no earthy good, but I don't think so. :)  I think we can be so earthy minded that we are no heavenly good...Sad to say that is sometimes where I find myself, and I pray that God uses all of us, His children, to bring glory to His name and in doing so, draw others to Himself.
