This is the verse of the day on the home page. If only, if only we all obeyed the Word of God. If only we weren't sinners in need of a Savior! But the truth is we are all born sinners. We all do need a savior.
I am extremely frustrated with the misinterpretation of Scripture taking place in the world today. The internet has exponentially magnified this phenomenon. I even read a blog here on MyChurch that claimed that once we find our inner goodness, we evolve to an awareness that we are from God, have goodness in our hearts, and then proceeded to misquote Scripture to support this idea. Thankfully, someone had the boldness to lovingly and kindly point out the error in that way of thinking.
My concern if for those who prefer to listen to false representations of God's Word and are so deceived. We are surrounded by lost souls. Please join me in prayer that the truth will be revealed to them and that they will in turn pass the truth onto others that have been misled.
