I would highly recommend this book, it gives direction, love, and hope to all who accept the author and the author's son as their Lord and Savior...His name is Jesus...He loves you beyond what you could begin to dream!

I have read that book countless times and do you what it cool about that book? Every time I reread it there is somthing I missed the last time I read it!! It is the greatest book ever :0) Great post! still praying about your car. |

Hey Cheryl
A few years ago, the Lord opened a opportunity for me to give a "chaple' talk for our christian school.
The Lord led me to do a book review on the Bible !
We went through History, how the Bible is the most reliable history book.
We went through poetry.
We went through adventure with the three men in the fiery furness.
We went (briefly) through a Love Story like few experience.
We even went into Sci-Fi without the fiction! Did you know that the Bible has more references to Mummies getting up and walking than any other book of History I am aware of?
The Lord led me to take great care and deliberation to set up a 8 foot stepladder at the start of the 'talk" right up behind the Pulpit. I would step back and look at it from different angles, make slight adjustments to it, and while speaking, if I felt I was "loosing their attention" I would walk closer to the ladder, sometimes putting my foot on the first rung and resting it their while talking.
I never talked about the ladder, or why I had it there, and when I finished, a young fellow had a question, "why the ladder?".
I just told him,(and the others) "it was to help your attention, that's all". It worked too! :-) |
