After having several days to reflect since this tragic event, I must say that now is the time for Christians to be praying and seeking God more.  I know that God will comfort the hurting families, friends, and this university.

They are so beautiful and their beauty will live on - let's help their beauty live through us and what God wants us to learn from failings of society, we can make it better.

From Laurence Binyon's For the Fallen:

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

I hope that we as Christ's Body can be a comfort to those that have suffered loss during this horrible tragedy.

1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 1:4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Be sure to watch the video.  I had heard this song before, but never knew what it was written for.  Well put together blog.  Thank you for taking to time to share this with us.

How fitting at a time as such as this.  2 Corinthians 1:3-4 RSV is perfect scripture.

My prayers are with those hurt and missing their loved ones from this tragedy.  And to the family of the young man that was very sick and killed the other kids and teachers, my prayers go out to them also.  May God heal your hearts.
