Yesterday, I watched one of those prison shows. At first I thought- I'm not going to be able to handle this - and almost changed it. I think what erked me the most was this pretty white painted prison. We all know that where Scott is - is NO WHERE near that! The guards were so caring. (those were the ones working with first timers in some sort of program to keep them out of GP)
But what I saw at the end made sitting through it worth it!
Two inmates- getting out in just a few days- comparing notes.
One said - knowing I'm going home soon has made it so much worse, because I miss my family more now than I ever did.
Then a few hours later I got a letter that said exactly that! From my Husband.
Wow! This one has to be the best love letter ever!!! *sigh*

The news came on and they were talking about an organization called "Court Watch NOLA" They do investigations on court procedures. There has to be something that watches St Bernard Parish. Or maybe these guys cover all parishes. Let me know what you find out.
(tons of skippage- hehe)
Our new (he's been there several months now) cell mate had court today. His IDB didn't even have his file until they got in the court room and the DA gave it to him. He was told that more than likely the charges on him will be dropped. He passed a lie detector test prior to being arrested whereas his neighbor did not. So he has been here all this time for nothing! They won't take care of him medically and threatened him about if he complained. (sound familiar)

Isn't it amazing how God cultivates and brings to the situation such beautiful and lovely things? Your love for each other is so sweet -- because you both love Him first-- Court watch - hmmmmm -- It is all working out----- this "will" be over --- XOXOXOXOXOXOXO- big love |

Bub I hear you the Tv say all good and hide what is really going on. I was in ministries for the prison in Michigan and what I seen and what the tv shows is two different stories....it breaks my heart, for they hide the truth behind the walls..

They showed why inmates went in "the hole" and took pictures of the bruises and dammage done to them. WOW- it was gut wrentching.
SB does not even put it in the books!!! |

| I have no doubt that this separation that has been forced upon you will serve as something to make your marriage stronger. I feel so badly that you are going through it, but you will come through it one way or another. I am continuing to pray for you both. |
