Stormy weather

Just had to laugh at my title! I'm not really talking about my daughter when I say "stormy weather"!! My sister's house was in the path of a tornado yesterday, it took all the shingles off the roof, took the car port, half the dog house, lots of trees, as well as the shingles off a neighbor's roof. Both of her cars are beneath two trees. Tornados aren't frequent here in W.V. but they do occur once in awhile. When I think of all the destruction, I have to see how God protected them. No one was hurt. She just seems to have one streak of bad luck after another. She thought I was joking when I told her she just wasn't living right and needed to get back in Church. Believe me, I was not joking! I really feel for her, nothing is insured, she rents, and one car was waiting for repairs and hasn't been driven for a few months so it has no insurance on it, the one she was driving only has liability. I lived in tornado alley several years and never had a tornado hit this near, or to anyone I knew!

Praise the Lord, Shirley, no one was hurt!!!!! Our town is still cleaning up from the last storm....and it was straight line winds.

Man that's interesting. Tornadoes are indeed rare in WV!! "streak of bad luck", boy I bet that's some sort of understatement! (Thank God she's alright!!)

I'm glad she is alright. Things can be replaced but people cannot.

Lord, I thank you that no one was hurt in this tornado.Lord, thank you that only material things were damaged and that those things can be replaced.Lord, I want to lift up Shirleys sister to You.Lord,You know that she needs to get things straightened out with You.Lord,please let her see that she needs You and let the tornado be a wake up call to her.Lord,I ask that You be with her and provide for her.Lord,please send people into her life to encourage her and who will know just what to do and to say to help her tuen back to You.Lord, please let Your Holy Spirit be drawing her even as we pray.We love you Lord.In Jesus name.Amen.
