When I was a young man and was just starting to raise my chlidren, my mother told me there is no instruction book to raise my children. You see her father had not rasied her in the disipline and instruction of the Lord. But left it up to her mother to teach her how to make it in the world. Something my mother always resented. She has struggled her whole life and so did her brothers.Now my mother is no different than most others.
Fathers take the lead in your families! You see the man is the head of the family. And our children are gifts from the Lord. We the men are the covering for our whole family and ultimately responsable for the spiritual servival of our Family. You see Eve was deceived but Adam sinned.
6:4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. |
