Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things. -Philippians 4:8 NIV I love the way this is worded, and what it says to me. To dwell on goodness and truth, for if I do that, there is no room in my mind for the "stuff" that could bog me down. These words inspire me to excellence, not on my terms, but the Lords. How beautiful is that!

| There is an old computer saying that goes: "Garbage in and garbage out" when we think on the things that are good and holy and right then our actions will start to refelct our thoughs. Stu posted a blog today on the verses before that. Seems like God wants us all to meditate on Phil 4. |

Thank you Joey for posting this scripture for us to meditate upon... Father used it to remind me of a truth, I have sought to walk in as my daily reality since the Spirit of the Lord first revealed it to me. Today... I find myself in the midst of a spiritual battle... and have been pleading for HIM to help me understand what HE desires to say to me through it... reading this is part of HIS answer.
Yes, this truth is truly beautiful ...
Thank You Father for revealing such to us and making it alive within our heart... so we can embrace it as our reality and live it as our truth.... experiencing Your sovereignty in our lives and the reality of Your Presence in our hearts and mind. Bless You for the power to live Your truth as our own with an awareness of Your Sovereignty.... Bless You for the power to walk in the spirit and not after the flesh. We rejoice withYou as we do.... |

We need to be aware and "deal" with our "self-talk" or in other words the thoughts that are really dialogue with ourselves. Taking every thought captive --- Sugar got it--- captive means restrained. And the Love of God constrains the KJV says or we could say "restrain" us. so what is the deal? and many may disagree but we need to love God more, then we esteem His Word more, which builds faith more because after all faith works by love! I like bottom line - and usually the responsiblity sooner or later will end up with me not God, not my husband, not the devil , but me. I have to take responsiblity - I need to love God more. More love, more power, more of You in my life! I am ok with that -- and can admit it-- so I can fix it -- by seeking Him first. It is pretty stinking hard to fix something you can't admit is broken! xoxoxoxox-- oooh love that Joey! Good, really good verses! |

I've been dwelling on this scripture to keep the garbage out. To keep others' bitterness out of our home and our lives. Our home is a very, very, very Godly home, so Satan stay away! Go somewhere else to play... |
