We left HdG at noon to what was supposed to be a 5 hour trip to my mom's......we arrived at 9:52 pm. You ask your self after doing basic math---that's more than 5 hours? Yes it is, traffic, construction-where I never saw anyone constructing-and an out of the way Walmart in Hagerstown to get a much needed binky!!!! Hagerstown looks like a nice town....how would I know, the GPS gave us the whole tour, the first place it said there was aWalmart....Wonder Woman must show there....and turned it invisible...just field nothing more than grass, weeds and trees! Imagine our excitement when we saw that!? Then we came into the rain just outside of Morgantown. Tyler said "Daddy I"m hungry." To which Tom replied "you just ate 2 soft taco's." Then I butted in and said "that was at 2 o'clock it's now going for 9pm!" And my dear hubby replied "oh"-and Tom's a MENSA member! Finally in Washington Pa, we stopped at McDonald's(yum, no more fast food, yum) While we were in the drive through which I have gotten through quicker during a lunch time rush, we see a cop pull in, then an ambluance. As we drive around the building we find, 4 police cars, an ambulance and a man sitting on the curb holding his bloody head (yea I saw it) Guess that's why it took so long. It's going to be a long weekend for the police! Finally we made it and after an hour of winding down I hit the pillow with my darling head and slept good! (andso did Tori) Thank you Jesus! Have a great 4th of July I"ll post pic's of the big family fun. Tomorrow is Matt-me's 18th birthday and graduation party-I have known him since he was 3 (ouch I'm old) He was the ring bearer in our wedding 9 years ago and now he is taller than Tom! Later peeps! |
