Letter 6-27

I just wait. No word yet on anything.

6-27     I got a letter from the core member that went to the other tier. I put it in here. It is a one level tier with 24 men. He has blessed me by being a soldier for Christ. I am so proud of him. I miss that core group.

I seem to have worked myself out of a job. With the exception of counseling. I have to pray through some of the approaches Mr A takes. He has truly changed his life and is showing quite a visual witness, but can be harsh at times.

I was very happy to hear all the notes written from your online friends. I am overwhelmed by how many are supporting us. It is a true blessing. God has been so good to us.
I need these warriors of yours to pray for these guys by name.
(if you'd like the list, e-mail me and I will send it to you- but for post- we go with mock)
Mr A- who is taking over in this tier.
New cell mate- who is changing his life of using and dealing to service for God. He will marry his girl and focus on his fatherly duties.
XXXX- Just in every way that he keeps God real in his life so he can keep it real for others.
Repeat- who is never stable.
Bouncer- that he can receive.
Core Man- for the leading of God in the other tier.
The new converts and those that have gone home to their families.
And the families of the ones that have died just after release.
There are so many more that I can't begin to remember them.

6-28     The last few days, with the atmosphere so threatening, most of the guys just stay in their cells. Bouncer's head games are getting out of hand. Now the worst has been at lockdown. He will verbally abuse someone all through the night, being louder than my reading. By morning they want to give him whatever he wants.

The cop rumor is still lingering. I am very critical with who comes into my cell now and what is talked about in my cell. (as for me and my house) I don't allow them to entertain rumors. It is so easy to get caught up in discussions that are meaningless. In 1st Timothy in the first chapter it tells us not to be a part of meaningless talk. It does not Glorify God.

Letter from Core Man

My Brother in Christ,

Mr Scott, How are you doing? I've been meaning to write you, I finally got stamps and envelopes. We have a really good Bible study going and God has truly opened my eyes to so many things. I pray that you go home soon, because God can open the prison gates and release you, just as they did for the Apostles Peter and John. Acts 5:17 Acts 16:25. Have you talked to your old cell mate? Tell him I said hello.
I was a little nervous when I started the Bible studies but I asked Jesus to give me the wisdom and insight to learn his Word, and it happened. We have about 6 people in study right now and two of them excepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. I'm so excited about God because He has shown me so many blessings since I've been in here. So I thought you might like to know how God has worked through you and you are an inspiration to me my Brother.
So please keep the faith of a mustard seed and you can move mountains, Scott. I really wanna go home to, because I miss my kids and Mamma. Until then I will continue to work for the Lord and let people know how amazing God is. To see others find God for the first time is truly a miracle. I still have not been able to build up the courage to sing yet. Well I know your blessed and you will be home soon my brother. So keep your head up to the sky and keep me in your prayers because you are definitely in mine. If you get a chance write me. I'm in XXXXXXXX

Apostle Scott- planting churches! That is awesome.

devil shut up and come out of bouncer in Jesus' Name -- that needs to stop. making that man act like a fool.   Lord come to him today!

Oh the work of the Ministry. What is Scott's churches name?
See even those around him believe he is going home soon.

Bless him today -as a faith man he can celebrate the greatest Independence Day- the day on Calvary and the Empty Tomb. And by faith, he keeps his eyes on the Promise of his own physical independence day-- he is a free man.

Visit him Lord, with a strong Presence!   Spirit, soul and body!

Thanks for the post Bubbles. I certainly don't think he'll have any issue with the letter. There is nothing there that doesn't glorify God and it certainly encourages those of us who have held you and Scott in prayer. To know that the fruit has been planted and is bearing more fruit is absolutely wonderful. TGBTG!!

I hope Scott keeps reading aloud. It doesn't matter how much Bouncer wants to drown him out, God's word will not return void.

Bouncer will be silenced - it is not God's will to drown out the Word.

God doesn't want bouncer doing that -- it doesn't effect the Word - but it does effect the hearers.
Scott keeps reading - that is awesome.   bouncer quits screaming that it is awesome too!
God loves bouncer.
leave bouncer alone-bring salvation to him Lord.   Lord of Freedom!
Scott knows what Paul went through doesn't he?
Nothing new under the sun.
