Sounds clever (and fun!).  I bet your friend must appreciate that you and friend #2 make such an effort to engage him in discussions.

hey sounds cool - i like the idea of a "he/said she/said" article and even a regular column (sc) spot here and everywhere.  here is a little cc - science v/s bible sounds like a competition which is not what we want...

better to come up with something like "science in the bible" to show it's together

Totally agree with the "science in the Bible approach".  You could offer it still in a comparitive format, though....this is what science says and this is what science in the Bible says.  Maybe first start out with the noncontroversial things and then expand from there.

Yeah I definitely see where you guys are coming from...

About starting with noncontroversial topics first, I was kind of going to let him start the topics. Do you think that would be a bad idea?

Get your hands on the book Case for Faith, by Lee Strobel.   I'm so serious -- there is beautiful explanation in there for these things!

Oh thank you both very much. :) I will look for the book at the Christian book store, all though I have a really good one by Ray Comfort and I borrowed the Evidence Bible (which is also VERY good) from a friend of my brother's. Thank you so much....

Oh, and Danae! I have invited him.... in fact I begged him on Easter. :D haha. I will keep trying, you know me... Love you too!!!

Ray Comfort's stuff is great too.  I second Heather...anything by Lee Strobel and also More than a Carpenter.  Mostly thought pray and get in the Word.  The Holy Spirit is the light through which truth is revealed.
