Hal,     To fear God means to reverence, or revere Him.   As true as that is, it's not the whole story.

In the NT, there THREE different greek (root) words translated into english as fear. 

In the OT, there are  m-a-n-y  hebrew words translated into english as fear.

So, if reverence is the only thing meant when we read to "fear God", why so many words in the origional languages?
