| BLIND Faith is BIBLICAL Faith right??!! (Devotional 26 of 365) When we moved to South Thailand, my wife Zina was telling people how we just packed up all our belongings into our small truck and by BLIND Faith we drove 14 hours down to Ao Nang Krabi. We did not know what place we would live in, we did not have a scheduled meeting with anyone and we really did not know what God was going to have us do so we said we went on BLIND Faith … all we had was God and His Word, “Go I am sending you.” Then the Holy Spirit gently showed us that the Bible says, “BLIND Faith is BIBICAL Faith.” Hebrews chapter 11 = “Great Examples of Faith” “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we can NOT SEE.” “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now SEE did not come from anything that can be SEEN.” “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.” “It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith.” “It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going.” “How much more do I need to say? It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and all the prophets. By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them.” “They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight. Women received their loved ones back again from death.” “But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free. They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection. Some were jeered at, and their backs were cut open with whips. Others were chained in prisons.” “Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half, and others were killed with the sword. Some went about wearing skins of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated. They were too good for this world, wandering over deserts and mountains, hiding in caves and holes in the ground.” “All these people earned a good reputation because of their FAITH, yet none of them received all that God had promised.” We think we are in God’s perfect will when everything is going PERFECT, we do not do things for God until we get everything figured out or have our plan fully laid out before us BUT some just have BLIND Faith in God. When was the last time you showed God BLIND Faith?? God says BLIND Faith is what justified Noah and God made him righteous. BLIND Faith is hearing God and just OBEYING, obey even if your logical thinking does not understand and honestly you will NOT understand how God really does things and that is why HE just asks us to obey. Is God asking you to go on a Missions trip?? Is God asking you to support or start a Ministry?? Is God asking you to give your money to the Poor?? Is God asking you to sacrifice yourself for the Church?? Is God asking you to move to the other side of the earth- Thailand?? HE is asking, you do not understand, you do not how it will work out … then great … practice BLIND BIBLICAL Faith & watch God bless YOU!! For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by FAITH from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by FAITH."” Romans 3:22 “This righteousness from God comes through FAITH in Jesus Christ to all who believe. …” Hope is the ability to Hear the future of Heaven’s music … FAITH is dancing to IT !!!! Go out and dance, obey God, do some righteous living, practice your BLIND Faith which is BIBICAL Faith, earn a good reputation and you will find yourself living life to the full- amen!!
