| Remark about the Bible verse of the day. |

8:29 And he asked them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered him, "You are the Christ." I never could figure out why Peter did not acknowledge his relationship with Christ at his execution. He witnessed Christ's miracles and had seen by his own eyes the metaphysical sights. But he did make up for it during his remaining years. I must assume God had further plans for Peter for surely he would have been killed if he had opposed the crowds. I keep forgetting that the entire life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was orchestrated by God. Even the actions of Judas were in the plan. That is why it is apparent that Judas was guilty of nothing and is with his and our Savior in Heaven - God preordained it all. |
