Hey Ally, I was pretty much the same way at your age. And I've heard that story over and over and over and over again. Wassup with dat? By God's grace though, I lived to the ripe old age of... well, not old, but not young anymore either. Anyway, I finally made the choice to live FOR GOD instead of for me, and boy what a difference it has made! Every word of the Bible comes alive now that I realize it really is God communicating directly with me. Days are no longer dominated by fear or anxiety, because God has it all under control. Most of the bad habits and self destructive behaviors in my life were removed by GOD over the last decade. Life is all good! (Even the bad is good, because I know it's there for a reason.) So I hope that you discover the life of unending joy God has in mind for you. BTW, we've been praying for your epilepsy.

Don't forget to wish your mom a happy mother's day!  ~mike

Dear Ally, sometimes being a rebel can feel like the cool thing.  Church can be boring, and we can hit times when we question everything about God.  That's understandable, Ally, but be careful.  You are making decisions right now that are affecting the rest of your life.  Every bad choice we make has the potential of cancelling out future options.  There are so many dangers for young people to fall into, and sometimes the pit is so deep we can get stuck there.

I'm glad to hear that you are praying sometimes.  Keep on praying.  Ask God to answer your questions and to give you wisdom to make choices you'll be happy with when you're 20.  Seek someone, even if it's on-line, that can mentor you spiritually.  Someone whose Christian life you respect and admire.  Having made wrong choices in the past is not a reason to continue doing the same.  Give yourself a new beginning.  Offer yourself to God, and commit to Him that from this moment forward you will look to Him for your decisions and you will try to find your joy in Him.

Jesus told a beautiful story about a young man who rebelled, and how his father welcomed him back home with open arms and celebrated his return.  We are the son in the story, and God is the loving and patient Father.  (Luke 15:11-32).  It's a great story!   I'm praying for you Ally.

Ally, hang in there & don't stop praying. You could so easily make descions now that will haunt you for the rest of your life.I lived through that on both sides as a teen & a mother of a teen.Satan tries to isolate us from God.Even as adults we go through times were we are just playing church. We aren't so tight with God and we sure aren't living the life outside of those 4 walls called the church. We can run but we can't hide, cause we aren't happy. We try to fill that void by rebelling be it hanging with the wrong crowd & doing things that we know we shouldn't or kicking the dog or yelling at our spouse or kids. The only way to be happy and have peace is to be living life large for Jesus.
It's O.K. to question God. I was raised that to question God was like teh ultimate sin,but God is bigger than any questions we have, and He knows we are questioning. He knows your every thought and feeling. There's no hiding your feelings from God.It's kinda freeing. Will be praying for you .
