REPENTANCE
NONE OF US CAN REPENT ON OUR OWN .
NOT BECAUSE OF WHO I AM { SINNER } 11:18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
TRUE SORROW AND FORGIVENESS COMES FROM GOD !
2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
It is absolutely crucial that we do not act like superior know it all or holier than thou to those who are mixed up about a truth. I always thought the direct approach was best, but I have learned people are not interested in being converted into my way of thinking or anyone else's.
13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
The people of God's Kingdom are to be comforters and shelters !
The field is the world, and
the seed represents the people of the Kingdom..........
Matthew 13:0 TLB
1:3 Blessed [be] God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 1:4Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 1:5For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
2:3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
WHEN WE SEE A MISUNDERSTANDING OF TRUTH FIRST LET US PRAY ABOUT IT
ASK GOD WHAT TO DO LET HIS HOLY SPIRIT DO THE WORK
GOD'S WAY, PLACE, AND TIME IS ALWAYS BEST
GOD IS ABLE, THROUGH HIS WORD, TO HELP US REPENT AND BECAUSE OF WHAT JESUS HAS DONE HE STANDS ARMS OPEN WIDE TO FORGIVE US.
NOT ONE SIN IS TAKEN LIGHTLY, EVERYONE HURTS HIM . TO SEE WHAT WE DO TO OURSELVES AND OTHERS.
OUR HEAVENLY FATHER WANTS US BACK IN HIS HOUSE WHERE WE CAN HEAR THE TRUTH OF HIS FORGIVENESS AND RESTORATION. HE WANT US TO FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM, OUR FAMILIES, OUR FRIENDS, AND OUR NEIGHBORS.
NOT BECAUSE OF WHAT I'VE DONE { SINNER }
BUT BECAUSE OF WHO HE IS { JESUS CHRIST THE HOLY SON OF GOD AND OUR ONLY HOPE OF SALVATION }
16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
WHEN WE STAND BEFORE GOD WHAT OTHER REASON CAN WE HAVE BUT HIS GRACE THAT WE MAY ENTER?
MAY THE JOY OF OUR LORD BE WITH YOU
